About Us
History
NEOKECCI MULTICONCEPTS COMPANY LIMITED was founded in 2005, incorporated in 2010 ( RC 926675), and commenced operations under its current name in 2013.
We support the social investment efforts of large/multinational companies in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, particularly The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC).
As accredited Trainers for Shell Nigeria LiveWIRE Programme, we train and mentor the next generation of youth and women entrepreneurs to start and grow their enterprises.
We also use the Global Memorandum of Understanding (GMoU) model to facilitate the initiation and implementation of sustainable community development projects/programmes in the host communities of Shell.
FAST FACTS ABOUT US:
- Selected, trained, monitored, evaluated and mentored over 1500 young men and women in starting and growing their own business in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, Abia, Cross River and Akwa Ibom states in the Niger Delta region, for Shell Nigeria Livewire Programme. We are currently mobilising to train another 160 persons in the weeks ahead. (2012 – present).
- Coordinated and monitored the design, initiation and execution of 242 sustainable community development projects as part of SPDC’s GMoU, in rural communities in Ojobo Cluster in Delta State and Oporomor and Tarakiri Clusters in Bayelsa State, all together worth over US$10m (2017 – present). - Produced and hosted on radio over 400 editions of the Small Business Radio Show, a small business development radio programme geared towards the development and growth of small businesses, that aired weekly on five radio stations in Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta States in Nigeria (2009 – 2014). - Organized annual Small Business Forum sponsored by SPDC (2010 – 2013).
- Conducted monitoring and evaluation of the businesses of LiveWIRE beneficiaries to ascertain their performance (2010).
